Iva Spinoza is a multidisciplinary artist working across poetry, prose, drawing, and printmaking. Her practice is rooted in the space of intersections, the in-between of memory, longing and displacement.
Rather than answers, she sees her pieces as arrows: points of direction. Through text and image, she constructs work that functions as evidence of life, attempting to capture and translate these threshold moments. Both intimate and distant, precise and somehow vague, but grounded in clarity rather than noise or performance— very symbolic, like a secret; but it’s merely a way of leaving space for what cannot be simplified, ignored or forgotten. Yet, without this practice, maybe she wouldn’t remember… And to walk the way home, one must remember.
